Situated in a peaceful village called Oxton, we are ideally located on the main bus route to Birkenhead and we are near to local shops, churches, parks and a post office.

Gerald House Is owned and managed by full qualified and trained nurses so you can be assured that you will receive a professional care service. Our staff are friendly, polite, helpful and empathetic and have been trained to national qualifications in the care of the elderly.

To ensure that continuous care is available we have staff on duty 24 hours a day and in addition to trained care assistants we also have domestic staff, cooks and maintenance staff.
Meals
Our meals are as follows:
- Breakfast: 8.30am - 9.30am
- Lunch: 12 noon
- High Tea: 5pm
- Supper: 8pm
Morning coffee and biscuits are also served at 10am and 3pm. There is a choice of menus, and meals will be served in the resident's room if required. Tea making facilities are available to residents and your guests are welcome to join you. All the residents are consulted when the menus are planned, and the meals are prepared by experienced cooks. Special diets are catered for, including medical diets, and diets for religious and cultural needs.
Facilities and Services
Each Room is designed with privacy in mind, even the minority of shared rooms that we have. The majority of rooms are single with an en suite. There are two lounges and a separate dining room. There are visiting hairdressers, a chiropodist, a visiting dentist, opticians, residents are encouraged to retain their own GP and ministers of all denominations are encouraged to visit the home. Transport is provided for outpatient appointments and regular monitoring of medication.
